Custom Photography and the Custom Photographer

The above picture, a custom portrait of my neighbors and good friend was originally taken in front of a
green screen. After their picture was taken they indicated that a beach scene might be nice for a picture and one
of my neighbors liked a picture that I had developed from the background scene in their picture. Can I
develop a picture from client input all the time: probably not, but the fun for me is in trying. The picture
below is another example of what you can do when you use a green screen as a background. This picture has more of a
painter effect. (Need to put your mouse over the picture to see my
alt-picture.)
Okay I know the below picture doesn't look to terrific. What do you expect from a picture of a well worn guy way
past his prime. I also didn't shave and the tee shirt look's like it is ready for a wash. The point is if you show
up for a custom picture I expect you to look your best. Even a custom photograph can only enhance so much. Perhaps
a day spent at a beauty shop such as the Rumirs day spa in Fort Pierce would not only make you look good but also
make you feel good because you look good.( note Rumirs has moved to Melody Lane next to the Library in the Fort
Pierce marina.) My philosophy about a portrait picture is that such a picture should give you satisfaction
over a lifetime. Either it's your picture or the picture of someone you care about but it's also a picture of
someone who is at peace with themselves on the inside and looking their best on the outside. Basically this
is what a Custom Photographer lives for. Not every picture I take will meet this criteria but I will
try my best to give you a photograph you can look at 20 years later and say, 'Wow' didn't I... If you hover your
mouse over the picture you will get an idea of what a custom picture will look like. I used myself as a model
because I don't want to show the before pictures of my customers.
