Basically I am offering four types of Photography portraits.

   The standard photography Portrait:
      The first is a standard portrait which will look pretty similar two what you may find in your average photography studio in the Fort Pierce area. Decent lighting a nice background and some touch ups to make the subject look decent. I'm not particularly interested in making this type of picture but if it's a slow week I may accept an appointment for this type of picture. The second type of portrait service I am offering takes a different approach to getting a portrait photograph.

Custom Photography Portrait: A new way of looking at portrait photography.

   A custom portrait is different than the normal portrait picture a Portrait Photographer would take in your local studio in that if requires input from the customer about the type of picture the customer wants. By answering the questions below the customer gives some clues as to their personality and the type of picture they would like. I know this is a risky approach to getting your picture taken and this isn't for the timid. The truth is at my stage of my life I want to take the type of picture that interest me. Thank to the revolution in Digital Photography I can make every inch of a photograph part of the creative process. I know that good pictures are always about relationships: whether to other people, the environment or to something the person believes in. I may not take a lot of picture but I will still be happy if I can take a few good ones. I am not running a normal photography business so I have no desire to take the normal portrait pictures. I have a small mini-studio to take pictures in and can also handle location shots. Location shots are done mostly in the customers home and should reflect an environment that makes the customer feel comfortable.

Custom pictures spring from a relationship between the photographer and portrait subject.

Each picture is developed into a particular style that I hope best expresses what I want to do with the picture. I generally start with a basic idea of where I want to go with the picture. Along the way new ideas emerge and old ideas prove unworkable. After I can't figure out how to make another revision the picture is ready. My pictures aren't for everybody I like plenty splashes of color, mostly some type of red and usually some type of painterly effect because painting cuts out a lot of the mundane details that usually make a picture just another snapshot. A good painterly effect on the photograph also encourages the viewer to try to reach an interpretation of what the picture is about. A good photograph is something that you can look at years later and still see something still fresh, exciting and relevant.

The fantasy portrait:
  Usually this type of picture involves some sort of costume, so before the photo session you have an added expense. Also I may not be able to build a proper background for the picture. However if you have something in mind, I would love to discuss the posibilities.

The mature picture:
  Erotic, sexy, yes: but I won't do tasteless pornography so don't bother to ask.

At the end of the photo session if you order a portrait other then a standard or location photo portrait: I will ask you to fill out the below questions if you want a custom,fantasy or mature picture and will ask a few questions about your answers. When I have finished your picture I will also return the questions sheet I filled out. As you can see from the questions below I am not looking for any deep dark secrets. A lot depends on whether I have a background photograph that can match your answers.

*For some pictures I can scan in a photo of someone or use another digital file to insert into the picture.
